KOH MA DIVING
Koh Ma offers two types of diving near Koh Lanta, combining a natural shallow reef with an artificial reef created from sunken shipwrecks. The shallow reef as well as the wrecks are suitable for all levels of divers, with the wrecks located at approximately 12, 18 and 24 metres.

Diving in Koh Ma
Koh Ma offers two different underwater environments for divers to explore. The shallow reef around the island offers hard corals, rocks and smaller marine life, while the artificial reef provides artificial structures for divers to explore.
The first three wrecks were sunk on 15.12.2021. Since then, the artificial reef has slowly expanded to 11 wrecks, with plans to eventually sunk a total of 15. As coral and marine life continue to grow on the sunken shipwrecks, the site is gradually developing into a new underwater habitat. Koh Ma also offers a great site to be used for Advanced Open Water dives.
Marine Life at Koh Ma
Koh Ma is particularly interesting for divers who enjoy looking closely at the reef. Schools of smaller reef fish can be seen around the structures, while coral growth and the surrounding reef provide shelter for a variety of marine life such as schools of snapper and butterfly fish.
Look around the wrecks and rocky areas for smaller fish, nudibranchs, shrimp and crabs.
Who Can Join to Koh Ma?
Koh Ma is suitable for all levels of divers, from beginners to experienced divers, as the wrecks are located in 12m, 18m and 24m depth.
Snorkelers are also welcome on board.
A Day Trip to Koh Ma From Koh Lanta
Join us for a day of diving in Koh Ma. Our day trip includes two dives, with equipment, hotel transfers (between Saladan and Klong Nin, with Sri Lanta Resort being the last stop), breakfast, drinks, fruit and lunch provided. After the dives, we return to Koh Lanta around midday.
Depending on the day's itinerary, Koh Ma is normally combined with another dive site such as Hin Bida.The exact dive sites are planned according to sea conditions and the experience of the divers on board.
