DEEP DIVER
There is something exciting and mysterious about exploring deeper dive sites. Koh Lanta island offers excellent conditions for deep diving especially with its nearby dive sites.
During the course you will learn:

To plan your deep dives with special diving procedures

What is Narcosis and how it can affect divers and how to deal with it

To manage your gas supply and non decompression limit

To control your buoyancy at depth
-
Buddy contact procedures and safety considerations at depth
The Course consists of:

Open water sessions (3 dives)

Academic sessions
-
Self learning: theory and knowledge reviews after each chapter

Final written exam
After the course you are qualified to:

Dive autonomously to maximum depth of 40m (max. limit for recreational diving).

REQUIREMENTS

Open Water Diver Level (SSI) / Advanced Open Water Diver Level (IANTD)

For 15 years or older

Minimum 10 logged dives

MEDICAL FORM: It is important to know about any medical conditions you might have that might put you at risk underwater. Please carefully read the RSTC MEDICAL STATEMENT to make sure you are fit to dive. If you answer any of the questions YES, we require a doctor’s certificate that states you are medically fit to scuba dive.
